I created this site because I really love task cards as a teaching resource. I have made so many sets that some of my teacher friends are starting to call me The Task Card Queen.  Here is a little about me for those who are interested:

My name is Rachel Lynette and I live near Seattle, Washington with my sixteen year-old daughter and our somewhat crazy cat. My son attends Evergreen State College and comes home for breaks. I also have a super-supportive boyfriend. Professionally: 

• First I was a teacher. Most of my early experience was teaching gifted and talented students from first to fourth grade. 
  
• Then I became a mommy and took a few years off from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom to my two little ones.
  
• When my kids got a little bigger, I went back to teaching part time and also started writing nonfiction books for children. 
  
• Eventually, I stopped teaching in order to write full time. I have over 120 published books on a variety of subjects, which you can see here.
• Somewhere in there (actually, April 2006), I discovered Teachers Pay Teachers and started selling my original teaching products. 
• Today I am the number one seller of teaching resources for grades 3-5 on Teachers Pay Teachers. I work full time creating teaching resources, writing blog posts, publishing a monthly newsletter, and collaborating with an incredible network of teacher friends from all corners of the world!
